Tomato Kasuri Methi Chicken

This can be made with both Chicken and Mutton. The colour looks absolutely stunning as well. This can be a perfect choice for mealtimes on any day. The best part is that it's a lovely option for people who loves something tangy. And it depends on the Tomatoes used, it might be very tangy or little less, but yes, it's a bit on the tangy side for sure. And with dried Fenugreek Greens or Kasuri Methi, you are rest assured about the flavour and zing as well. It not only adds aroma and taste, it is absolutely delicious to the last bite. Juicy and succulent chunks of Chicken just melts in your mouth that you would ask for more and more helpings. It can be made so very easily without much difficulty. Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Clean and wash the chicken thoroughly and rub all the masalas into it including the salt. This marination helps in locking the flavours. Do it if you have enough time on hand. Heat the oil in a deep cooking pot and add the mustard seeds. After they are done, saute the onions until light pink.

Now add finely chopped Tomatoes and the Fenugreek Leaves. Cover and simmer on low heat for the next 20 minutes. Do not add water. Keep stirring at regular intervals.

Now add Chicken into this and simmer it on low flame well covered. Do not add any water. Once done, check in the gravy. If you need a thin gravy, add some hot water accordingly. Keep stirring a bit in between to ensure proper cooking. Adjust Salt according to taste at this stage and switch off the flame after done. Garnish with Coriander and serve hot with Naans
