A perfect snack for Tea-time. A simple, crunchy, and tasty snack that is loved by most of us. It's done in no time and that too roasted perfectly well to the last crunch. Enjoy this super yummy oven-roasted White Lobia at any time you wish to. Once made, these can be stored for a long time. Not only is it healthy, but it's also easier to do as well. And with just Salt and a few simple spices, this is all done to perfection. Kids will definitely love it as an afterschool snack or adults as an anytime munchie. The best part is that it can be stored for a long time in airtight containers after bringing down to room temperature.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak the White Lobia or Black Eyed Peas in enough drinking water for about 2-3 hours for the best results. Drain thoroughly in a strainer so that the water is completely drained and they are all set for roasting. Mix in all the ingredients. Spread on a butter paper-lined baking tray.

Bake in a preheated oven on 200° for about 40 to 50 minutes. It depends upon the oven you are using as every oven temperature settings are different. Keep turning and tossing one or two times in between to ensure even roasting of it.

Serve at Tea-time or Shaam ki Chai to your families or even as an afterschool quick munchie to your kids. The choice is entirely yours. Store them in air-tight containers and relish them for up to 2 weeks or even more if there is anything left until then because it will disappear from the containers in a jiffy. Such is its taste and texture. Enjoy!
