Cauliflower Fry

#cookpadindia #vegrecipe #easycooking This is a simple Vegetarian dish made with Cauliflower or Gobhi along with Onions and a few spices used in everyday cooking. A ripe large Tomato is also used by me but it's not that necessary. We usually love this for Breakfast but it can very well be served at any of the three important meals of the day.

4-5 servings

25-30 minutes

1/2 tsp

Cumin powder

2-3 tbsp

Oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan, heat oil and add the ginger-garlic paste and Green Chillies. Saute for a minute and add the rest of the spices. Now add the sliced Onions. Saute until translucent. Add a large and chopped ripe Tomato too if desired at this stage. Mix and cook until mushy and done.

* Step 2

Followed by the Cauliflower florets. Cover and simmer on low heat for 15-18 minutes. Open the lid and adjust salt accordingly. Saute until the Oil starts separating and a thick masala is formed due to Onions. Garnish with lots of chopped Coriander Leaves. Serve hot as a side dish to your favourite meal.

* Step 3

Serve hot immediately alongside yummy homemade Rotis or Phulkas or Chapatis. Yum!
