Another lovely Curry from the City that can be relished at mealtimes. Both Rice and Rotis go well with this awesome dish. It's a must in Winters when this Vegetable is available aplenty. Fresh Green Peas are a treat to the tastebuds.
Sweet and melt in mouth round Green Peas are so flavourful that there are umpteen number of dishes that can be cooked with this and yet we feel like we want more and more of it.

Food ration :
6-7 servings

30-35 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat Oil in a pressure cooker. Add Ginger garlic paste and the Onions that are finely chopped. Saute until translucent. Add the rest of the powdered spices and the meat as well. Saute all that for about 3-4 minutes and then add chopped Tomatoes too. Ripe one's are the best. Cook on a low heat for further 3 minutes. You can also add slit Green Chillies too.
* Step 2
Also add some of the chopped Coriander Leaves and half of the Salt too. Otherwise meat wouldn't be tasty enough. It would be bland. Don't directly pressure cook. Saute or roast well before actually closing the lid for pressure cooking. If you add everything to the cooker and then roast or Bhuno it later, the results might not be satisfactory.
* Step 3
Pressure cook for 6-7 whistles or as required. Then open the lid once the steam settles down. Add Potatoes and the Green Peas or Batane ki Phalli as it's called here in the City. If you desire, you can pressure cook just for 2 more whistles. It's optional. Otherwise just cover and cook on a low heat for the next 15-18 minutes just as I did.
* Step 4
Since it's a semi dry Curry, add water only if necessary. Adjust Salt and add the other half of the chopped Coriander Leaves. That's it. It's all ready to be dished out. Enjoy! Yum!
