Residue from Ghee or Clarified Butter
#cookpadindia
This is the brown coloured byproduct that is collected after making Ghee or the Clarified Butter at home. It's called by different names by different people. It's called Mawa too. In some places it is called Khujdi or Thuppada Gassi. Nevertheless it's the same when it comes to taste and appearance. This is the Residue collected after the Ghee making process from fresh Cow's Milk Cream.
Many Desserts and Sweet dishes can be made using it effortlessly and in short time as well. It's healthy and nutritious too.

This is absolutely healthy and can be relished on it's own adding some Sugar or Honey to it. Or make Laddoos or Burfi out of it. It can also be used as a savoury treat. Make a simple stir fry Sabzi out of it. Or use it with your favourite Vegetables too.
* Step 3
The list is long but mostly my family prefers sweet goodies especially Laddoos. I have already shared it on my profile. Please have a look at it for a vlear insight into the recipe. Yum!
