Dad's Tomato Beef

Dad's take on a Tomato Beef Dish. This is one of a number of old restaurant recipes my father created back in the 80's. Recently discovered in old notebooks after his passing and recreated for posterity.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 - 6 servings

Cooking time :

20 -30 min
4 cloves

Garlic, minced

1/2 cup

Soy Sauce

1/2 cup

Hoison Sauce

1 tablespoon

Sesame Oil

2 tablespoons

Starch

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Choose sides and prepare accordingly. I prefer to serve this dish on a bed of noodles.

* Step 2

Heat pan or wok to hot and add the oil and beef. Seer the beef

* Step 3

Add remaining ingredients, except starch, to the pan and cook thoroughly

* Step 4

Mix starch with 4 tablespoons water, then drizzle into pan while stirring to thicken the sauce

* Step 5

Serve with your choice of sides and enjoy
