Oven Roasted Lamb Leg or Raan

A lovely party recipe for any day. Be it a family get togethers or a reunion or a terrace barbecue party, this one stands out in terms of presentation and style.
It's a simple roast with a few simple spices but yes I have used pure Homemade Ghee in this just to give it a nice flavour and aroma.

* Step 1
The first thing to be done is clean the Lamb leg and make slits all along.
* Step 2
It is advisable to do it as it will help in getting a juicy and a succulent raan after grilling. Papaya paste helps in cooking it perfectly. Marinate it for one whole day. It's an important part of this amazing dish.
* Step 3
Baste it with Oil or Ghee or Butter before grilling. Preheat oven to the maximum and roast it for an hour and a half. This depends on your oven. It might take a little more or a little lesser time than mentioned. You can straight away roast it until crisp and thoroughly done.
* Step 4
Serve with Homestyle Parathas, Naans, Rumali Rotis etc. It tastes yum. Enjoy!
