Tomato Onion Chutney

#cookeverypart #cookpadindia A tangy peppy Chutney that goes well with Idli and Dosas. Also can be a very good dip for Pakoras, Potato Chips, Nachos and Vadas. Not only is it easy, it is quite versatile too. You will love it as a dip for different reasons. Firstly because it is tangy and flavourful. Secondly it is a lovely one for many a different eatables.

Ingredient

15 minutes
2 tbsp

2 sprigs

Curry Leaves

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil and add cumin seeds and the chopped garlic. Saute for a while. Now add chopped onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.

* Step 2

Add the green chillies and the chopped tomatoes. Let them cook until tender.

* Step 3

Allow it to cool and blend using a little water. Use water only if required. Otherwise there is no need at all. Enjoy!

* Step 4

Temper the chutney and serve it accordingly. Tempering gives it a nice flavour and aroma.
