Semolina and Chocolate Appe Cakes

Ingredient

Milk

1/2 cup

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add all the ingredients mentioned to a mixing bowl and make a smooth batter free of lumps. Set aside for about 10 minutes.

Preheat an Appe Pan or Appam Patra on low heat. Keep it covered. In the meantime, after the time is over, check on the batter. If it is very thick, add in some more Milk. Otherwise, it's not necessary.

* Step 3

Add half a teaspoon of melted butter in each of the depression in the Appe Pan. Pour a tablespoon of the batter into each. Cover and cook for about 2 minutes on each side until done. Flip it over and cook on the other side too for the best results.

* Step 4

Serve them warm with the dollops of your favorite Ice-cream or Chocolate Syrup. Yum!
