Tawa Teenkoni Rotis or Triangular Rotis

#cookpadindia An everyday easy to do soft and well roasted Rotis or Chapatis for breakfast. However these can be made for lunch or dinner too. Extremely soft and supple. Healthy and wholesome too. Fluffy super soft Rotis are done easily in just a few minutes. The dough that remains can be stored in an airtight container for a day in the refrigerator. Serve hot with any side dish for a healthy Breakfast or any main course meal of the day. Use lukewarm Milk for super soft Rotis and also it's very healthy too. Lukewarm water also can be used if desired. And use of Ghee is very important for tasty and healthy Rotis. Oil can be skipped for the better. And use fresh Aata from Chakki or the Flour grinding mills because it is always safer. Use Sharbati Gehun Aata for super soft and fluffier Rotis. Use of Salt depends on one's own preference.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Knead a smooth dough adding all the ingredients to a mixing bowl. Cover and keep aside for half an hour.

* Step 2

Meanwhile heat a tawa or a griddle. Divide the dough into balls of equal size either medium or big. Roll each into a small disc at first. Apply a little Ghee.Now fold into a semi circle as seen.

* Step 3

Now again brush a little Ghee on it. Fold again as seen in the pic. It resembles a🔺️now. Now roll normally as we do for Rotis. Roast on a low to medium high heat on a tawa. Use either Oil or Ghee for smearing on both the sides during roasting.

Follow the same for all. You will get absolutely fluffy and soft Triangular Rotis done on a tawa. Enjoy these at any main course meal or for Breakfast as well as Brunch too alongside your favourite Curries and Gravies. Yum!
