Wheat Flour Coated Fried Fish

#tech2 #cookpadindia An absolutely perfect dish for the elderly and the children along with pregnant women. Full of omega 3 fatty acids which are incredibly important for our body and brain, Vitamin D plus lots of protiens, fish is an important source of essential nutrients. I have used King Fish variety here. Deep fry the pieces on a medium high heat until golden brown and crisp on both the sides. Serve them with Onion Rings alongside. Khatti Daal and simple boiled Rice makes an ideal combo meal with this for us Hyderabadis. Kaddu Ka Dalcha also is a great option as well as Tamatar ki Chutney but Khatti Daal beats them all in terms of popularity and highly recommended one when it comes to having it with fried Fish. Happy Frying People!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Clean and cut the fish into pieces of required size. Marination is very much crucial for this recipe. The longer you marinate, the better it will be in taste and texture.

* Step 3

Using all the ingredients except the Wheat Flour or Sharbati Gehun Aata, set the marinated Fish on the kitchen counter for about 2-3 hours or better still overnight in the freezer. Whenever you need to fry it, take it out and allow it to defrost for a good 2-3 hours. Don't hurry about it. Storing it this way not only helps in keeping it fresh but also retains it's flavours.

* Step 4

Deep fry on both the sides until crisp and done. Serve with some more of Lemon juice squeezed on top and Onion slices.
