Sago and Mango Burfi

#week5of5 #cookpadindia A twist to the very own most popular Sago Pearls or Sabudana. Fusion at it's best. Blended the ever famous Mango with it and created this magic with a bang. This was first made by me in the Year 2016. And from that day to this, it has remained a favourite of everyone at home. It's an excellent option to relish especially in Summers when Mangoes are available aplenty. Happy Cooking Everyone! Enjoy Cooking with Zee!

Ingredient

Food ration :

6-7 servings

Cooking time :

15-20 minutes
1 cup

Sabudana

1 cup

Milk

2-3 tbsp

Ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak Sago Pearls for an hour. Drain and cook them in a cup of milk until soft for about 5 minutes on a medium high heat.

* Step 2

Add mango pulp and the condensed milk. Mix well and add Ghee. Adding it gives a nice sheen and gloss. Add both Cardamom powder and the Mixed Nuts at this point and mix thoroughly.

* Step 3

It will be little sticky at this point. Transfer it to a greased dish as soon as it thickens and cut into desired shapes on cooling. Serve them chilled. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use within 2-3 days. Enjoy!
