Suji or Semolina Laddoos

#week5of5 #cookpadindia Lovely Laddus that are a bit powdery and delicious goodies to have as a Dessert after Lunch or Dinner. This version is with Condensed Milk and takes about 15-20 minutes in all. Enjoy these Laddus at tea-time or serve them to kids with a big hot glass of Milk. These are healthy too because of Semolina and Ghee apart from Coconut.

Ingredient

Food ration :

6-7 servings

Cooking time :

25-30 minutes
2 tbsp

Ghee

1/4 cup

Raisins

1/4 cup

Cashewnuts

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan, heat ghee and shallow fry raisins and cashews at first. Keep them aside. In the same pan, roast Semolina until a nice aroma fills up the kitchen. It should not be dark in colour.

* Step 2

Add cardamom and coconut powders too. Roast all for a few minutes and add condensed milk. Switch off the heat and make laddus when still warm. Add cashews and raisins before shaping them into laddus of preferable size.

If necessary, use little milk. Store these in airtight containers and relish upto a fortnight or more. Yum!
