Tawa Kheema or Lamb Mince

This is an emergency dish that comes to my rescue each time guests pop in without prior intimation. Hence I call it an emergency dish. Made so very easily with all the things that are commonly available in any pantry. The only thing is that you should have the mince in your freezer. The best part is that one can even use Chicken mince for this same recipe and the only difference being the considerable decrease in the cook time. Try out this yummy Tawa Kheema and let me know how you impressed your guests. Tomatoes can be skipped if unavailable. This can be served with Rice and Khatti Daal also for a perfect mealtime. I usually make this alongside Khichdi too for a sumptuous meal. Basically this is an all rounder non-veg preparation that goes well as a side dish to many variations.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash the mince meat well and drain the water. Marinate with the Ginger garlic paste and salt for 10 minutes. In a non-stick pan, heat Oil. Add the partially crushed Coriander first and then the other spices.Saute on a low flame for just half a minute.
* Step 2
Add the mince Mutton to it and mix well. On a medium high heat, keep stirring it every now and then so that it does not stick to the pan. As it is minced meat, it is done in a matter of 15-18 minutes.
* Step 3
The mince is done when the raw smell fades away and a lovely aroma fills up the kitchen. Garnish with finely chopped Coriander Leaves. Serve this Tawa Kheema with Butter Naans.
