Dalgona Candy

#Dalgonacandy Dalgona is made in ladles over small burners on the streets of many Korean cities and is a very popular treat with kids. This is a joint effort of my me and my son who was super excited to prepare this and added his favourite red food color.

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

15 minutes
1 pinch

baking soda

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take the sugar in a non-stick ladle

* Step 2

Keep stirring on low flame till it starts caramelising taking care not to burn or it will turn bitter

* Step 3

Add a pinch of baking soda and stir when the color starts turning brown and add a drop of red food color and stir

* Step 4

Grease a parchment paper with oil and grease a round bottom glass and the star mould and pour immediately while hot. Place the glass to get the round shape and place the star mould to get the shape. Your dalgona candy is ready.
