Mini Crescent Roll

#toc1 This is typically a US version of pigs in a blanket and it is hot dog wrapped in croissant pastry. This dish appeals to kids of all ages.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

I used readymade shortcrust puff pastry sheets from Switz. It is an awesome product for quick pastries. I cut one chicken sausage into two halves but you can also use a single sausage

* Step 2

Cut the sheets as shown into thin triangles. Take a strip put dijon mustard sauce at one end and place the mini sausage and keep rolling.

Beat an egg and apply the egg wash on the sausage blankets and put on a baking dish with parchment paper.

* Step 4

Heat at 180 degrees centigrade for 20 minutes. Ensure to preheat the oven at same temperature for 10 minutes. Your mini crescent rolls are ready. Enjoy hot with some boiled green peas and sweet corn
