This Chana Masala Curry, also known as Chole Masala, is an authentic North Indian, Punjabi style curry made with white chickpeas, spices, onions, tomatoes and herbs. It is vegan and packed with healthy minerals, protein and fiber.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
👉Wash and soak 1 bowl white chana overnight. Boil chana in a pressure cooker with 2 tea bags for 10 minutes after first whistle. Let pressure release automatically. Then open the lid and discard tea bags.
* Step 2
👉Peel, wash and chop onion tomato ginger and garlic and make a paste in the mixer.
* Step 3
👉Heat cooking oil in a wok and add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put bay keaf, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, cloves, black pepper seeds and saute for 1 minute.
* Step 4
👉Add grinded onion Tomato paste and roast till oil leaves the karahi.
* Step 5
👉Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander seeds powder, garam masala and chana masala. Cook for 2 minutes.
* Step 6
👉Add boiled chana and adjust the consistency of mixture by adding water. Cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Switch off the flame.
* Step 7
👉Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
* Step 8
👉Serve hot garnished with chilli and tomato slices with puri or rice.
