Phirni is a traditional dessert made with ground rice, sugar, milk and cardamoms. Make this creamy and delicious pudding on any festival or occasion.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and rinse rice in a colander. Remove excess water and then Pat dry rice on a kitchen towel.
* Step 2
Transfer it to a mixer jar and coarsely grind.
* Step 4
Soak saffron strands in 2tb dp warm milk
* Step 6
Now add coarsely grinded rice in boiling milk. Cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes or till it turns thick. Keep stirring in between.
* Step 7
When the mixture gets thick add sugar and saffron milk with strands in it and stir well till sugar dissolves completely.
* Step 8
Add cardamom powder and chopped almonds and stir. Switch off the flame. Let it cool.
* Step 9
Transfer it to a serving bowl and serve chilled.
