Kashmiri Saffron Firni

#KD A famous Kashmiri dessert, mostly prepared during weddings.

Ingredient

Food ration :

8-10 strands

saffron

1/4 cups

sugar

2 tbsp

water

1/4 cups

khoya

2 tbsp

cream

1/4 cups

condensed milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil milk in a heavy-bottomed pan. When the milk boils Add saffron strands and cardamom powder and mix well.

* Step 2

Now add sugar and keep stirring and cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes.

* Step 3

When the milk is boiling, add the corn flour-custard powder-water mix while stirring the milk on a low flame.

* Step 4

Cook on low flame while stirring to avoid the formation of lumps.

* Step 5

Now add Khoya, then mix, add cream, mix it, add condensed milk, and mix well. Then let it come to room temperature.

* Step 6

When rabdi malai is cool, garnish it with chopped almonds and pistachio.

* Step 7

Serve it cool.
