Cooking instructions
* Step 1
For making puris : Mix all the ingredients for making puri dough in a mixing bowl and knead a soft dough by adding water slowly and knead with your hands thoroughly for 2 minutes. Cover with wet cloth and Keep aside. Now take a portion of dough and make a ball and roll it with rolling pin and make a puri.
* Step 2
Heat oil in a karahi and deep fry till golden brown colour. Flip the side and fry from other side also. Likewise fry all the puris.
* Step 3
Take soaked chana and Boil chana in pressure cooker till 10 minutes after first whistle. Give it a tadka. Heat 1 tb spoon cooking oil and put cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter add salt, red chilli powder and black chana and sauté for 5 minutes.
* Step 4
Now in a separate karahi heat 1 tb spoon oil. Sauté grated garlic and ginger. Add onion. Sauté till translucent. Now add grated tomatoes and cook till oil leaves the karahi. Add turmeric powder and garam masala.
* Step 5
Pour this Tadka in chana and add water in which chana was boiled and for 5 minutes on low flame.
* Step 6
Serve chana hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves with hot puris.
