Shalgam turnip ka bharta

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and peel vegetables. Cut in pieces.
* Step 2
Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped ginger and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute. Add chopped onion and tomato and sauté till oil leaves.
* Step 3
Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala and mix well.
* Step 4
Now add cut pieces of turnip and mix thoroughly. Stir very well. Now add 2 tb spoon water and place the lid. Pressure cook till three whistles. Switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically.
* Step 5
Open the lid. Mash it with the help of spetula. Add 1 tsp sugar and 1 tb spoon water. And cook it on low flame for 5 minutes or till water gets dry. Sugar is add to remove it's bitterness.
* Step 6
Transfer it in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves and serve with parantha or puri.
