Bedmi Poori and Aloo Bhaji

Ingredient

1 teaspoon

Carom seeds

To taste

salt

As required

Cooking Oil

As needed

Water

As required

Aloo bhaji

To taste

red chilli

1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

Garam masala

1 teaspoon

Cumin seeds

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add bedhmi Poori atta, salt, carom seeds, cooking oil and water and knead tight dough.

* Step 2

Make small balls of dough and roll small Poori and deep fry in a karahi till golden brown. Poori is ready.

* Step 3

Aloo bhaji

* Step 4

Boil potatoes in pressure cooker till 5 whistles. Switch off the heat. Peel potatoes and cut into pieces.

* Step 5

Chop onion, ginger and tomatoes and cut in small pieces.

* Step 6

In a kadai heat oil and put cumin seeds now add ginger and stir for two minutes. Add chopped onion and fry till golden brown. Now put grated tomatoes in the mixture and fry till oil leaves the karahi. Now add water and boil it. Add potatoes in this mixture and stir for two minutes. Mix garam masala and garnish with coriander leaves.

* Step 7

Serve hot with Poori, onion salad, green chilli and lime pickle.
