Rice pilaf with peas
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and rinse Rice. Soak Rice while preparing the other ingredients.
* Step 2
In large skillet heat Olive Oil over medium high heat. Add Onion and Garlic and fry for 3 - 5 minutes, stirring regularly. Add the Peas, Salt, Coriander, Paprika, Pepper and Turmeric and combine well. Cook for another 3 minutes.
* Step 3
Drain the Rice and add to the skillet. Toss to make sure the Rice is well coated by the spices.
Add Water and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes.
* Step 4
Toast Almond flakes and Pumpkin Seeds in a pan.
* Step 5
Once Rice is cooked sprinkle the toasted nuts, seeds and Raisens over the Rice Pilaf.
