Easy, Healthier Baked Beans

Easy, Healthier Baked Beans

I don't eat baked beans because of the sugar content in the sauce but a fry-up just isn't the same without them so I make my own.

Ingredient

Food ration :

8-10 servings

Cooking time :

2-3 mins
1 tbsp

Olive Oil

2 tsp

Sea Salt

2 tbsps

Tomato Puree

2 cups

water

2 cloves

garlic

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Chop the Onions

* Step 2

Add oil and onions to the pan, partially cook, then stir in the Smoked Paprika

* Step 3

While the Onions are cooking, open the tins of Beans, drain, rinse and add to the slow cooker (or casserole dish)

* Step 4

Add the onion mix to the beans and all other ingredients.

* Step 5

Stir well and cook on low for 2 hours

* Step 6

Serve as you wish..... On toast? With your fry-up?
