Lychee Jelly with Agar Agar

#WMJ3 Lychee being seasonal fruit, I have to make most of it and dessert it is

Ingredient

Food ration :

2-3 servings

Cooking time :

Preparation time-5 mins, Cooking time-3 hrs
1/2 cup

lychee syrup

1/2 cup

water

1/2 cup

sugar

10 gms

agar agar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl add 1/2 cup lychee syrup, add sugar, add agar agar, water, and mix well.

* Step 2

Bring it to boil and boil hot, set aside. Pour half of the mix into a 7”x7” baking tin.

* Step 3

In another bowl add the rest of the lychee syrup and add almond milk and mix well.

* Step 4

Into the baking tray add lychees overturned so that the bottom should face up, set for 5 mins by which time due to agar agar it will set.

* Step 5

Add almond milk mix gently from the sides and discard the bubbles. Set for 5-7 mins, refrigerate for 2 hours

* Step 6

With a knife demould the edges and place a plate on top of it and flip, the jelly would come smoothly onto the plate, cut into lengthwise and breadthwise and make squares.

* Step 7

Plate on a dessert glass or any dessert bowls of your choice, garnish with cherries and lychees, and enjoy.
