Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-30 mins

3 Tbsp

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan heat 1.5 Tbsp ghee and roast the Dalia on medium flame for 3-4 mins. Set aside

* Step 2

In the same pan heat rest of the ghee and add mustard seeds, let it splutter. Add hing, chopped onions, Dhuli Urad Dal and curry leaves. Cook on medium flame until onions are translucent

* Step 3

Add chopped tomatoes, cubed carrots, chopped coriander leaves, peas, green chillies and stir well for 2-3 mins

* Step 4

Add salt and sugar and mix well.

* Step 5

Add 2.5 cups hot water and stir. Cover to cook on low flame for 5-6 mins and the water is absorbed

* Step 6

Set aside. Drizzle with ghee and cover

* Step 7

Plate and enjoy
