Affogato

#cppassport #cppitaly Affogato is a coffee-based Vanilla ice cream or Vanilla dessert in Italy which is very famous. The vanilla ice cream has to be with vanilla beans and not vanilla pods, has to be of very good quality, the expresso added made from best coffee beans and garnished with roasted almonds.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Vanilla ice cream - in a bowl whip 1 cup whipping cream with an electric beater until peaks are visible.

* Step 2

In a different bowl add 1/2 cup condensed milk, 1 tsp vanilla beans, mix well. Add to the whipping cream and fold well but carefully. Pour into the ice cream container and put in the freezer for 24 hrs.

* Step 3

Now for Affogato - in a serving glass add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, 1 shot of espresso.

* Step 4

Roast the sliced almonds.Garnish the almonds on the Affogato and plate

* Step 5

Enjoy.
