So here is my version of sour dough starter that worked for me successfully.
Sour dough starter needs feeding as per what I have learnt from the much flooded recipes and videos on internet.
But this is an olden days recipe that was followed by Grandmas in the Italy.
And I have recreated the same.
So please do try this easy starter recipe that gives you delicious pizzas.
I have tried myself, and believe me my kids loved the pizza that I made using this starter.
This process needs to be planned in advance , but it's worth the time and efforts.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take a glass jar or a large bowl.
Add milk, lemon juice and 2 tablespoon of flour. Mix together all these ingredients using a fork or spoon.
Cover tightly and keep aside on your kitchen counter.
* Step 2
After 24 hours, check the consistency and smell it.
You will already start getting the yeasty smell. Also can see bubbles from outside.
That's what we want.
Add 1 teaspoon flour every 24 hours and keep mixing it.
Repeat this process for 7 days.
* Step 3
After 7 days, add 2 tablespoon of this starter to the flour while making pizza.
* Step 4
If you don't want to make pizza immediately after 7 days, keep this bottle in refrigerator.
It will last at least for a month in the refrigerator.
