Ganesh chaturthi thali

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For payasam add cooked rice to the vessel add milk,sugar and cook it till it thickens,then add coconut grated and sugar mix it till sugar dissolves.

* Step 2

For modak boil the water add salt,ghee and rice flour mix it and cover with lid keep for a while.

* Step 3

Transfer to a plate knead it well, add ghee,coconut grated, jagarry to a pan and cook till jagarry melts and dries then add cardmum powder and poppy seeds mix everything well.

* Step 4

Now knead the rice ukad well make small balls flatten it like by pinch with fingers like modak,fill stuffing and close it and steam it for 10min. Modak is ready. For Kadabu flatten the rice ukad like small poori size fill with stuffing fold half and seal edges,steam it for 10min. Kadabu is ready.

* Step 5

For rice and varan,wash rice and dal(add turmeric powder and oil)separately in the pressure cooker,cool it take our dal and beat it beater to smooth out,add salt,ghee,hing,lemon juice give it nice mix.varan bath is ready.

* Step 6

For potato bhaji, peel the boiled potato and mash with your hands roughly,add salt and sugar. Heat oil add mustard seeds,curry leaves,urad dal,hing, green chillies fry it add turmeric powder and potato mix everything well add lemon juice and coriander leaves, potato bhaji is ready.

* Step 7

For bhajjis,add besan flour,rice to a bowl add salt, chilly powder,ajwain,hing mix everything well adding water make thick batter,heat oil dip the potato, capsicum slice and drop in oil fry till crisp and golden.

* Step 8

For poori,knead not too soft dough adding wheat flour,sooji,salt cover keep for a few minutes. Make small balls roll it to poori and fry in hot oil to fluffy poori.

* Step 9

For usli,heat ghee add mustard seeds,jeera,curry leaves,red chilly,hing and cooked kale chane give a nice mix add salt mix again in the end add lemon juice and grated coconut.

* Step 10

Serve each item on banana leaf and Ganesh chaturthi thali is ready.
