Tempting delicious Saar is my childhood memory, prepared specially during festivals and celebrations.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash toor dal and soak with coriander leaves,jeera, pepper corn, curry leaves, coconut,for half an hour.

* Step 2

Grind soaked ingredients to a smooth paste.

* Step 3

Add the ground paste to a kadai and add 3 times water mix it and boil it till raw smell goes.

* Step 4

Add tamarind pulp, jagarry,salt and combine everything well,.

* Step 5

Prepare tadka with ghee, mustard seeds,hing and turmeric powder add to the prepared Saar top with coriander leaves and grated coconut,it's ready to serve with hot rice and ghee.
