Urad Dal Steamed Kadabu

Urad dal kadbu , the traditional dish from South India prepared during Ganesh chaturthi.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash,soak urad dal for 4 hours,remove water add to mixi jar add,ginger, green chilly,salt,hing and grind it adding little water.
* Step 2
Grease idli stand add the urad dal batter and steam it for 12,15 min. Cool it remove the steamed dal and make crumbs of it. Heat oil add hing, curry leaves and crumbled urad dal cook for a while,filling is ready.
* Step 3
Boil water add salt and ghee/oil add rice flour mix it cover with lid keep it for few minutes, tranfer to a plate and knead it to dough.
* Step 4
Take a portion of the prepared dough flatten it keep the urad dal filling,fold it to kadbu shape and press the edges well. Prepare all kadbus like this.
* Step 5
Heat steamer place the kadbu in idli stand and steam for 5,7 min. Warm it.
* Step 6
Urad dal Kadabu is ready to serve/enjoy with chutney/sauce/ketchup.
