Marinated tofu and rice

Marinated tofu and rice

Ingredient

1 tbsp

brown sugar

1/2 tbsp

black vinegar

1/2 tbsp

sesame oil

1 tbsp

chili crisp

1 cup

rice

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Press tofu for 30 minutes. Cut into cubes & place in a bowl.

* Step 2

Cook 1 cup rice in rice cooker.

* Step 3

In a separate bowl, combine 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp black vinegar, 1/2 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp chili crisp, and 1/2 tsp Sichuan peppercorn powder.

* Step 4

Add sauce to tofu. Let marinate for 1 hour or so.

* Step 5

Add olive oil to pan. Cook tofu until it starts to brown.

* Step 6

Place rice in bowl. Put tofu on top. Top with scallions.
