Lemon rice

Ingredient

Food ration :

serves 3 servings

Cooking time :

45 minutes
1 cup

raw rice

1 tsp

urad dal

1 tsp

chana dal

1 small cup

peanuts

as required

Curry leaves

2 tbsp

oil or ghee

as per taste

Salt

as required

Chopped coarinder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.cook it till soft but not mushy

* Step 2

In pan add ghee once hot add mustard and cumin seeds. Add urad dal and chana dal saute till golden.add peanuts.

* Step 3

Saute now add curry leaves and dry red chillies,add 1 green chilli.mix well add asfoetida and turmeric powder.

* Step 4

Now add cooked rice,salt,coriander chopped.mix well.cook for couple of minutes. Switch of the flame.now add lemon juice.mix well and serve hot.
