This is traditional Maharashtrian recipe made on auspicious time. Today is gudhi padwa, new year of Maharashtrian people.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Use choti sooji for Ladoo.if you don't get.blend it on pulse and then use.heat Pan add 3 tbspoons desi ghee. Once hot add sooji and roast it till golden brown on medium heat.
* Step 2
Take out in plate and add 1 tbspoon desi ghee to same pan,add khoya(reduced milk cake) for five minutes on low flame. In another pan take sugar add 1 cup water. use same cup you measured sugar.make sugar
* Step 3
Make sugar syrup of one string consistency.add khoya to hot sugar syrup, mix continuesly. Now add roasted sooji to it, add cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits.mix well and keep aside for 2 hours.
* Step 4
After 2 hours again mix well the mixture and make medium sized ladoos decorating with raisin.it tastes yum.shelf life is 15 days.if khoya is fresh then more few days you can keep it.roasting is very important in this recipe. patiently we have to do it.do try this recipe
