Coconut Beetroot Burfi

Cooking instructions
* Step 2
Peel and grate beet root.
* Step 3
Put pan on the gas add ghee and roast beetroot for 15 min.
* Step 4
Put another pan on the gas and add grated coconut then roast it for 7 min.
* Step 6
Make one string syrup with water, sugar and saffron.
* Step 7
Mix beetroot and coconut in sugar syrup.
* Step 8
Add cardamom powder and powdered nuts.Add little ghee also.
* Step 9
Mix it well till it leaves the surface of pan. Switch off the gas.
* Step 10
Prepare one greased thali.
* Step 11
Spread the mixture and keep it in the fridge for two hours.
* Step 13
Serve. Can be kept for a week.
