Homemade Turkey Sausage Crumbles
I prefer making my breakfast sausage over buying it pre-made. Even though the pre made stuff is still very low in fat, there is alot of added sodium.
This breakfast sausage recipe is Low-Fat & Low Sodium, using only herbs and spices and no added salt!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In my opinion you can use whatever amounts of herbs and spices you desire in this recipe depending on your flavor profile. The sage is what really gives you that breakfast sausage flavor, but the black pepper & red pepper is important for a certain level of spice.
* Step 2
Combine the ground turkey and all the herbs and spices together in a bowl.
* Step 3
Knead the spices into the meat using your fist, continuing to fold the meat over while you knead it. That will ensure the flavor is getting into every portion of the meat.
* Step 4
Heat a medium sized skillet on medium heat and add a touch of olive oil to the pan.
* Step 5
Once the oil is hot, add the sausage mixture and let it brown while chopping the turkey into crumbles. (you can also make patties instead of crumbles)
* Step 6
Mix together into an egg white omelet for a complete low fat breakfast!
