Roasted Chicken Spice Blend

Here is the combo of spices I like to use when roasting chicken. I for some reason always find myself adding paprika and tarragon to any chicken recipe whether roasted, smoked, fried or grilled.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and blend together with your finger tips. The salt granules seem to help break down the tarragon flakes without having to use a mortar and pestle.

* Step 2

Store in an old empty and cleaned spice jar. Label the jar if you're not gonna use it all right away. Otherwise you'll end up like me and have a ton of unlabeled mixes in the cabinet and have to play the smell and taste test game to figure out if this will for dinner!

* Step 3

Dust all sides of any chicken cut or whole chicken and cook. Also good mixed into a flour blend when making fried chicken.
