Kul Kul (Easy Christmas Dessert recipe)
Kul Kuls are traditionally prepared in the western Indian state of Goa, especially during festivities. It’s easy and will be loved by all. This is a ‘make ahead’ recipe.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder in a mixing bowl
* Step 2
Mix well and make a pit in the center
* Step 3
Add the butter in the center and coconut creme
* Step 4
Mix roughly first and then start to knead (not more than a minute)
* Step 5
The dough needs to be soft and dense
* Step 6
Now heat oil for frying and create small dough balls
* Step 7
Grease a gnocchi make or the back of a fork with some oil
* Step 8
Place each dough ball on the gnocchi maker and gently press down
* Step 9
Start to roll from one end to the other and seal the edges gently
* Step 10
Once done, add them to hot oil and fry in batches until golden brown
* Step 11
Rest the fried ones on an absorbent paper for a while
* Step 12
Store airtight and enjoy!

Tip: adjust sweetness to your preference, ie add more sugar before kneading.
* Step 14
Tip: Fry after reducing heat, for better and crispy Kul kuls. Do not discard the overfried ones; they taste just as good!
