Tahini Sesame Cookies
Sweet and savoury at the same time, these cookies go perfectly well with a cuppa! Sesame is through out the year and especially in winters to produce warmth in the body, given it's medicinal properties.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Creme together the sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl
* Step 2
Once well combined, add in the tahini paste, vanilla and honey
* Step 3
Whisk again until well incorporated
* Step 4
Next add the flour gradually into the mixture and keep folding in
* Step 5
Once done, cover the mixture with a cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes
* Step 6
Post refrigeration, preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius
* Step 7
Add the sesame seeds on a plate and mix them well
* Step 8
Create cookies of desired shapes (you can roll and cut using cutters too)
* Step 9
Coat each cookie with sesame seeds and place them on the baking tray aligned with a baking sheet(with a 2 finger gap between each)
* Step 10
Place the tray into the oven and bake until you see the sides and surface brown (approx 10-12 minutes)
* Step 11
Place the cookies to cool on a wired rack post baking and then store them airtight
* Step 12
These cookies have an unique flavour thanks to the tahini, and every bite will be delightfully crunchy due to the sesame coating.
