Soya chunk manchurian

Anniversary Yearning for some crispy, tangy and spicy manchurian and bored with the veggies and meat? Try this yummy new variation!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak the soya nuggets in warm water for about 15 minutes. Then drain the water in them by squeezing them with hand and place them in a mixing bowl.

* Step 2

Add flour,cornflour, red chilli powder, ginger- garlic paste and salt to taste to the soya and mix well

* Step 3

Deep fry the soya nuggets in a Kadai till they are crisp

* Step 4

Drain excell oil in them by cooling them off on kitchen tissues

* Step 5

In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and add the chopped garlic, onions and 2 tbsp of spring onions greens and capsicum and sauté well for sometime over Low heat

* Step 6

Next add the hot chilli sauce and tomato ketchup and sauté for a minute

* Step 7

Now add soya sauce, vinegar and salt and mix every ingredient well

* Step 8

Lastly add the soya nuggets and blend well.

* Step 9

Serve hot garnished with a handful of spring onion greens

* Step 10

Tips: Add finely chopped green chillies while you cook or garnish with hot chilli sauce on the soya chunks if you have high tolerance for spicy food
