Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Assemble all the required ingredients.
* Step 2
In a large mixing bowl add the organic refined wheat flour, rice flour, powdered sugar, black sesame seeds, turmeric powder and salt.
* Step 4
Mix until well combined. Add water, little at a time, and mix it well without any lumps. The batter should not be too thick nor watery.
* Step 5
Peel the skin of the Nendran Pazham and slice it. Add the sliced bananas into the batter and mix it well to coat the banana slices.
* Step 6
If the batter is thick, add some water.
* Step 7
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed kadai. Carefully immerse the batter coated banana slices in the hot oil and deep fry until crisp and golden brown.
* Step 9
Remove from oil and let it rest on a puri strainer to drain away the excess oil.
* Step 11
Crispy and Delicious Pazham Pori (Kerala Special Banana Fritters) are ready to serve. Enjoy it hot or warm with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
