Green Peas Pulao
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly, wash the rice nicely. Add fresh water and allow it to soak for 20 minutes. After the set time, drain away the water and set it aside.
* Step 2
Assemble all the required ingredients.
* Step 4
Heat a non-stick kadai. Add ghee and oil. When the ghee melts and is perfectly hot, reduce the flame to low and add the cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves and whole black pepper. Saute for few seconds. Then add the ginger juliennes, chopped green chillies and whole cashewnuts.
* Step 5
Roast it lightly. Saute for only a minute. Add the fresh green peas and mix it well. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
* Step 6
Next add the soaked and drained out rice and saute on medium flame for a minute. Add the salt and kitchen king masala and give a quick saute.
* Step 7
Add the lemon juice and mix it.
* Step 8
Next add the water and allow it to come to a boil.
* Step 9
When it starts boiling, reduce the flame to low and cover and cook for 12 minutes. When done, pour some ghee on top and allow it to rest for 5 minutes. Then remove the lid and fluff it up with the help of a fork.
* Step 10
Transfer the pulao in a serving plate and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
* Step 11
Super Delicious Green Peas Pulao is ready to serve. Serve it with cucumber-tomato raita alongwith some cucumber slices.
* Step 12
You can also pair it with Chilli Garlic Prawns. This combo is awesome.
