Beetroot and Walnut Paniyarams

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, add sooji.
* Step 3
To it, add 3/4 cup buttermilk.
* Step 4
Mix well. Add the finely chopped green chillies and mix.
* Step 5
Add grated beetroot and chopped curry leaves.
* Step 6
Mix well. If dry, add 1/4 cup more buttermilk to bring it to the right consistency. Add the chopped walnuts and mix well.
* Step 7
Add baking soda and little water and mix well. Allow the batter to rest for few minutes. After the rest time the batter will be thick. Add water to adjust the consistency of the batter. This is the perfect consistency.
* Step 8
Heat appe pan on low flame. Pour little oil in each hollow part of the appe pan. Pour a spoonful of the batter in each part.
* Step 9
Cover and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side too.
* Step 10
Remove these fluffy and soft appes in a plate. You can enjoy them with chutney of your choice.
* Step 11
Delicious Beetroot and Walnut Paniyarams are ready. Serve them hot with Coconut Peanut Sesame Chutney or any chutney of your choice.
