Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly, cut the paneer into medium cubes. If the paneer is store brought, then soak it in hot water for 10 minutes.
* Step 2
Next, add butter and oil to a non-stick pan. Oil is added so that the butter does not get burnt.
* Step 3
When the butter melts and gets hot, add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter. When it gives out its aroma, add ginger garlic paste and chopped green chillies and saute it on medium flame for a minute.
* Step 4
Now add the chopped onions and saute until slightly golden brown. Next add the cubed green bell pepper and saute only for a minute or two on medium flame. Add the chopped tomato and salt and saute till the tomatoes are soft.
* Step 5
Turn the flame to low and add turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, chaat masala and pav bhaji masala and saute for a minute or two. Now add the paneer cubes and mix gently. Cover and cook on low flame for about 2 minutes. Garnish it with some finely chopped coriander leaves.
* Step 7
Delicious Tawa Paneer is ready. Serve it hot with some buttered parathas, roti etc.
