Preheat oven 10 minutes on hi or 500 have meat 11/2 to 2 inches thick. Place meat on rack 3 inches below heating unit. Heat with oven door open. When brown on one side,season with salt and pepper and turn. Reduce heat to 350 continue cooking to suit taste. Add piece of butter and serve.
