Paneer bhurji stuffed samosa

#streetfoodofindia This is a North Indian type of samosa and a very tasty street food.A perfect tea time snack which can be enjoyed with a cup of tea or coffee.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a nonstick pan.Add chopped onion and grated ginger and fry till transparent.Add the finely chopped capsicum and tomato and toss.Sprinkle chopped green chillies.Now add crumbled paneer,turmeric,red chilli powder and salt to taste.Dont toss for a longtime as this will harden the paneer. Finally sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander. Set aside the filling to cool.

Pour flour in a bowl.Add pinch of salt and baking powder.Also add 2 tbsp warm oil or ghee.Add water and knead to a stiff dough.Make lemon sized balls out of the dough.Roll into thin sheets.Cut from the centre into semicircle.Roll like a cone and stuff the filling.Close edges with water and seal the end.Let the samosa rest in fridge for an hour.Then fry them in hot oil in low flame.Healthier option is to bake them in oven.

Serve crispy hot samosas with a yogurt pudina dip or tamarind chutney.
