Heat oil, add and allow to crackle ponch kar. Then add onion, garlic and green chilli.

Heat oil, add and allow to crackle mustard seeds. Add ginger, curry leaves, chopped green chilli, and saute on low flame till aromatic

Then add lentils and fry light till golden. Fry sliced onion. Best the curd. Mix finely chopped banana stem to the cooked masala in the Kadhai.

Arrange and assemble the required ingredients. Clean, wash and chop amaranth leafy vegetables. Discard hard stems. Take along with the boiled lentils.

* Step 1

Wash cluster beans and chop them. To retain the green colour of the beans, cook them in boiling water with 1/2 Tsp salt for 5 minutes. Discard the hot water and wash the cluster beans with cold water. Set aside.

Heat 2 Tbsp coconut oil, add and allow to crackle mustard seeds. Then mix curry leaves, chopped garlic and shallots. Shallow fry till aromatic and golden.
