* Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C

* Step 2

Chop coriander finely. Juice lemon. In a bowl mix chopped coriander, lemon juice, masala spice, olive oil, salt and pepper together

Cut tomatoes in half.

* Step 4

Place snoek on a baking sheet. Brush with coriander mixture and top with cherry tomatoes. You can add the lemon to the baking sheet if you like for more flavour.

Bake for 15-20 minutes until cook. Enjoy with a fresh salad!

Ingredient

* Step 1

Cut the Ciabatta in blocks but not entirely to the bottom of the loaf.

Cut the camembert into slices and push them in between the blocks.

* Step 3

Melt half of the butter. Mince the garlic and mix with the butter. Finely chop the coriander and add to butter. Pour butter over ciabatta loaves.

* Step 4

Fry the bacon in a pan with some oil. Push bacon in between blocks.

* Step 5

Melt rest of butter and pour over loaves

Cover in foil and place on braaier or in 200°C oven for 10-15 minutes.

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C

* Step 2

Peel butternut and beetroot and dice in small cubes (keep separated)

* Step 3

In separate baking pan roast butternut and beetroot with oil until golden. It should still be firm

* Step 4

Let cool till room temperature (can be served cold from the fridge)

* Step 5

For dressing: Chop coriander finely. In a bowl whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey and coriander. Season with salt and pepper.

* Step 6

In serving bowl lay spinach leaves and rocket. Top with butternut and beetroot. Break feta over. Drizzle with dressing. Enjoy

* Step 1

Lets prepare salad dressing first. In a bowl, pour in extra virgin olive oil.

* Step 2

To it, add lemon juice, chaat masala, lemon juice. Add 1 tbsp honey if you want lightly sweet salad. Mix everything nicely and keep aside.

* Step 3

Now in a big mixing bowl, add all vegetables along with sprouts, Lobia, sesame seeds and peanuts.

Spread the dressing on it. Sprinkle sea salt. Mix everything nicely and enjoy your yummy healthy salad.

4 cups

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Rinse the yellow split peas and soak if necessary per package directions A strainer full of yellow split peas being rinsed In a large pot or wok add in the four cups of water and chicken pieces and turn on heat to medium high. Add in the split peas, onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric, chilies, cardamon, chicken bouillon, cinnamon, coriander seeds and cumin seeds, salt and pepper. Mix well, bring to boil and then reduce heat to simmer and let cook for about 45 minutes..

* Step 2

Remove the chicken to de-bone it while allowing the ingredients to continue to cook in the pot. It is is easy to use two forks remove the skin and shred the chicken from the bone. When finished add it back into the pot

* Step 3

Mix well and cook until the split peas are tender. Turn off heat and remove the cinnamon sticks. In a mortar and pestle pound the mixture a little bit at a time until you get a smooth consistency. Put in a bowl and add in the fresh coriander and mint if using. If you like heat you add a couple more chopped green chilies as well. Mix well.

* Step 4

Using you clean hands pick up a small handful of the mixture and roll into a ball, (about the size of a golf ball) Flatten the ball to make a patty. Set the patties on a plate. Repeat until all the mixture is gone.

* Step 5

Whisk two eggs into a bowl large enough to dunk the Kababs. In a frying pan, heat the oil on medium high, dunk the kabab into the egg and then fry them just a few minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove with spatula and set on paper towel to remove any excess oil. Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
