Ingredient

1 tbsp

desi ghee,

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take a pressure cooker, add diced carrots. In goes 2 cup milk, place the lid, give 4 whistles on high flame.

* Step 2

Lower the flame, cook it for 5 minutes. Turn off the flame, allow it to depressurise naturally. Open the lid, allow it to cool down. Blend it with the help of hand blender till smooth.

Transfer it to a wok, add rest of the milk, cook it on low flame until dry.

* Step 4

Add ghee now, stir fry it until dry. In goes sugar, mix it well. Stir fry it until dry & colour turns red. U can add elaichi powder now.

Turn off the flame, take out in a serving dish, garnish it with chopped nut & kalakand crumbs.

Ingredient

1 cup

sooji,

1 tbsp

desi ghee,

1/2 cup

kaju,

1 tbsp

kishmish,

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take a wok, add 1 tbsp ghee, heat it.

* Step 2

Moderate the flame,fry the nuts until kishmish becomes puffy, take out in a bowl, keep aside.

* Step 3

Add 2 tbsp ghee in the same wok, heat it. Add sooji, lower the flame. Stir fry it until pink. Take out in a bowl, keep aside.

* Step 4

Wash the wok, add 3 cup water, keep it for boiling. Meanwhile add food colour & saffron strands.

* Step 5

Add fried sooji after water boils. Mix it well. Keep stirring until semi solid.

In goes elaichi powder, mix it well. Now add sugar mix it well.

Keep stirring until a lil solid. Now add roasted nuts, mix it well.

Add rest of the ghee, mix it well. Cook it for a minute. Sheera is a lil semi solid unlike sooji halwa.

Take out in a serving dish, garnish it with nuts & saffron strands...

* Step 1

Firstly blend the mango pcs with 2 tbsp milk, make pulp, keep aside.

Take a wok, add full cream milk, place it on low flame. Give a boil.

Mix milk powder with lukewarm water, add in the milk, mix it well.

Cook it until thick. Add sugar now, mix it well.

Now add mango pulp & elaichi powder, mix it well. Add kewra water also.

Take a mixer jar, add mango 🥭 pcs & milk, blend it thoroughly, make pulp.

Now add dahi & sugar in the same blender, again blend it thoroughly, make lassi.

* Step 1

Take a wok, add 2 tbsp ghee, heat it.

Lower the flame, add chopped nuts, fry them till light brown. Do not overcook them. Take out in a dish, keep aside.

* Step 3

Now add rest of the ghee in the same wok, add Sewaiyan, fry them until light brown on low flame.

In goes 1/2 cup water & sugar, mix it well. (Water quantity is adjustable). Cook it covered until almost cooked.

Open the lid, add nuts, kewra water & elaichi powder, stir fry until dry.

* Step 6

Now add milk powder, mix it well. Cook it till powder is mixed nicely. U can add khoya in place of milk powder.

Turn off the flame. Cover it for a minute.

Take out in a serving bowl. A good dessert recipe. Can be had any time.
