Japanese Konnyaku (Konjac) cooked in soy sauce
Konnyaku is made from yams and it’s mainly eaten in Japan, Korea and China. If you find Japanese Konnyaku, please try this easy and simple recipe. #cppassport

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cut the Konnyaku into thin slices.
* Step 2
Cut the middle and twist it to make it look like the below step video/photo.
* Step 3
Boil the Konnyaku for 3 minutes.
* Step 4
Heat Konnyaku in a pan without placing oil for 1 minute(it will make a sound but it’s ok). By having this step, we can remove the smell from Konnyaku. After that, add all the seasonings in a pan. Simmer for few minutes. Add katsuobushi at the end.
* Step 5
Ready to eat! I usually eat this in a small portion as a side dish and keep the rest to eat on the next day. It will last for few days if you keep it in a container and store in a refrigerator.
